This event is for all of our Halloween lovers out there. Howl-o-Scream is Tampa’s premier Halloween event, and you are sure to be spooked with plenty of sinister surprises as this year they are celebrating 20 years of fear.
If you’re brave enough, you’ll get to venture through 300 acres of haunted houses, scares zones and thrill rides for a Halloween event to scare your socks off. You can purchase tickets for select nights between September 20 and November 2nd.

If you’re a seafood fan, you’ll definitely want to squeeze John’s Pass Seafood Festival into your travel schedule. Not only is this the second-largest seafood festival on the entire east coast, but it’s also completely free!
John’s Pass Seafood Festival isn’t all about seafood. There are also free concerts, a Halloween block party, costume contest and more.
This three-day festival is held between October 18 and 20, 2019. So, mark your calendars for some family fun and delicious, local seafood.
St. Petersburg’s art scene definitely does not disappoint with its abundance of museums, art festivals and colorful murals, but the Shine Mural Festival is a local favorite as it showcases the city’s local public art in a captivating manner.
The Shine Mural Festival brings in artists from all over the world so they can create new murals around the city for the week. This helps to further enrich the city’s public outdoor gallery that both locals and tourists appreciate dearly. So, head on over to the festival to catch a new mural being painted right in front of you!

This year marks the 11th Annual Sanding Ovations Master’s Cup, which is an iconic, four-day competition that consists of 10 sand sculpting masters creating breathtaking sand masterpieces directly on the beach. These sand sculptors come from all over North America, Europe and Asia to compete for the Sanding Ovations Master’s Cup and a hefty cash prize.
This event is held from November 20 to the 24 and is located on Treasure Island Beach, just a few miles down the road from Sirata Beach Resort. Needless to say, this is an event you definitely do not want to miss if you are lucky enough to be in the area during this time.

It’s no surprise that St. Pete has an abundance of small shops and unique small businesses that are perfect for food, crafts, souvenirs, home goods and so much more, In fact, it would be almost impossible to discover all of the eclectic shops in the area during your vacation.
However, if you’re in the area during the 10th Annual Shopapalooza on November 30 and December 1, you’ll be able to experience all of St. Pete’s unique-ness and local shops in one area!
Shopapalooza is held in Downtown St. Pete and is expected to be the largest Small Business Saturday in the entire nation with over 200 local makers, artists and small businesses. There will also be live entertainment, a food hall, a Christmas tree display and so much more.
And, to make this event even better, admission is completely free!
