For a fine dining experience, we recommend Harry’s Beach Bar and Rum Runners Bar & Grille, both located on the beach and both full of delectable menu items that will be sure to keep you coming back for more. Enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset with your sweetheart, or stop by for a filling lunch in between beach activities. Of course, for more meal options, there’s also John’s Pass Village, which features plentiful stands and restos for tasty, quick eats while shopping, and there are numerous other restaurants throughout the St. Pete Beach area as well.
For the outdoorsy types, you can’t visit our area without checking out Fort de Soto Park, which features nature trials, boating, camping, beaches, fishing and more. And speaking of outdoorsy, if you love a good baseball game, Tropicana Field (where the Tampa Bay Rays play) is always a blast.
For the kids, we recommend the Lowry Park Zoo (voted #1 Family Friend Zoo in the US by 2009 Parents Magazine!) or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Younger kids may also enjoy LEGOLAND Florida and Adventure Island for pools, slides, rides, and other kid-friendly attractions.
